Thyme essential oil is used in aromatherapy blends for air disinfection, as high content of thymol helps in preventing infections. It is one of the best essential oils for the support of the immune system. It has a powerful antibacterial properties but it is very irritating for mucous and skin and it is very important to dilute it in carrier oil. Thyme essential oil is one of the components of our powerful Sinal nose balm.
It blends well with essential oils of rosemary, lavender, grapefruit and myrtle.
