Vetiver essential oil

Vetiveria zizanioides

Vetiver essential oil is produced by steam distillation of the plant’s root. It has a distinguishing herbal aroma with earthy and smoky undertones. Due to its grounding and calming scent it is very popular in meditation and perfumery. In natural cosmetics, this exceptional essential oil has its application in reducing fine lines and wrinkles, as well as in toning tired and mature skin. This essential oil does not contain allergens.

It blends well with essential oils of bergamot, ylang-ylang, cedarwood and Spanish sage.
